LG Optimus G launched




LG Optimus G is  powered by a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB RAM.

LG today launched its next generation flagship smartphone, the Optimus G at an event in Seoul. The Android 4.0 powered smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Fusion 3 chip which includes a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC ie the APQ8064 and includes 2 GB of RAM alongside. A 4.7″ 1280×768 True HD IPS Plus display dominated the front with a ppi of 320.



The camera is a 13 megapixel BSI sensor equipped shooter paired with an f/2.4 autofocus lens and a dual LED flash. 32GB of storage is what you’ll get as the phone does not have an expansion slot. Rounding up the connectivity features are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and MHL for USB OTG capabilities and HDMI output. The battery is a 2100 mAh pack which is rated for 800 charge cycles. The LG Optimus G Will be available in korea by next week and in the later part of this year it will hit the Indian markets.



Several other features like Wi-Fi a / b / g / n, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA makes this device handy. The better advantage is that it has the Google Play Store just like the other smart phone does has to install, run and use the millions of Android applications and games.
